Hotel Prince de Conde - Charming 3 Star Hotel - Paris VI
The Prince de Condé is housed in an 18th century narrow town house and has only 11 bedrooms, making it one of the most exclusive secret hotels in Paris!
You will find the hotel in the heart of Saint Germain des Près, on the oldest part of the rue de Seine. This road dates back to the 13th century, runs down to the river Seine and started to get really built up in the XVIth century.
We have many illustrious neighbors; the private house of the La Reine Margot is near the Seine and d’Artagnan from the Three Musketeers also lived on this road.
The reception area is in a room near the street. When you look in you will see that the desk is an antique desk from a bookshop. The walls are made of the original stone, a reminder that we are in the very old part of Paris. The atmosphere, as soon as you walk in, is one of warmth, comfort and attention to detail; there is beautiful woodwork all around. The floor is parquet and the ceiling has a special wallpaper on it: the manufacturer is Zuber, from Alsace, created in the 18th century, whose wooden printing blocks have been classified as a French ‘Historical Monument’ (As an aside, you can find rare Zuber wallpaper in the Ambassador’s Room in the White House in Washington DC). In contrast, there is a beautiful modern art painting by the artist Marco Del Re from Gallery Maeght in Paris. In addition, the Louis XVI bench has been reworked by the young artist Magali Jeambrun, turning it into a unique work of art for the Hotel Prince de Condé. .
Amongst all this beauty we have not forgotten what is very important for our guests: the reception area is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for your convenience.
