Superior Rooms at the boutique hotel Prince de Conde

Hotel Prince de Conde offers two types of Superior rooms: The Louis 16 Modern Design rooms and The Empire Light Design Rooms. In this room category, Prince de Conde presents different options so that everybody can find their perfect fit from edgy designs and settings to the reassuring classics. All these rooms have bathtubs with a shower component in an elegant marble bathroom in the beige or grey tones.

The Louis 16 Modern Design Rooms

Packed with colors, textures, shapes, the Louis 16 Modern Design rooms offer a truly unique and strong take on design. Designer Guilds’ fabrics in wall-upholstery, mirror and ostrich leather as headboard, wattle and daub, original stone wall, elegant marble bathrooms, bronzes from Objet Insolite blend together with a majestic Louis 16 armchair revisited by artist Magali Jeambrun.

Our double rooms are approximately 18m2 and are on the right hand side; they each have a queen size bed and are very quiet and private due to a long entrance. The corridor walls have been decorated with brightly colored fabric from the Designers Guild .The rooms are beautifully and unusually decorated; the walls are alternately stone walls and red clay colored. On the back of the bed is a mirror which frames a bed head made from colored fake ostrich skin and the lights are made of bronze. You will also find a Louis the 16th armchair redesigned by the young artist Magali Jeambrun as well as an interesting wooden desk.

“Little French Gem!!!”
This is my first review on trip advisor and after spending 4 lovely days in Paris I felt like praising this lovely hotel in the heart of the city.
I went to Paris with my partner and wanted to experience a very french style hotel with loads of character and thats exactly what Prince de Conde provided us.
The rooms are not huge but for european standards they are just the right size, the feature walls, the artwork in the room, the wall papers, everything just seemed to be perfect for us.
The hotel is located just a few minutes from the Louvre Museum and within walking distance of Notre Dame Cathedral, it is very central.
If you love art like I do, the hotel is located in the middle of so many galleries so there is so much to see.
I definitely recommend this hotel and have already booked another stay where I will be taking my mum. (…)

“Lovely”

(…) Room was quaint and had a lovely character to it. Staff were extremely helpful. Would highly recommend it this hotel.

The Empire Light Design Rooms

With an Empire style fabric in wall-upholstery facing a beautiful original stone-wall, the Empire Light Design rooms offer a more plain and classic design setting.

These rooms are located on the left hand side of the landing. They have twin beds (2x90x200) and can easily be transformed into a king size bed (180 X 200). The rooms are about 20m2 and more spacious than the double rooms (The Louis 16 Modern Design Rooms).

Guest Reviews

I booked this hotel after reading all of the fantastic reviews and I was not disappointed. A friend and I stayed here for four nights for our annual “Mom’s Only” trip. We stayed in a superior twin and the room was a decent size for European standards. We each had a twin bed and room for our large suitcases. The hotel is very small and we felt like we were the only guests, which was lovely. I booked via the hotel website after comparing prices with other online search engines. The hotel website was cheaper and included free breakfast, so be sure to check their website when booking! Breakfast was in the cellar and was the perfect start to the day–fresh fruit, yogurt, baked goods, fresh juice, etc. The hotel is located in such a great spot and is within walking distance to practically everything in Paris. We have visited Paris many times, but the staff always made sure our questions were answered as we headed out the door each day. Lovely people. Our room faced the street and things were very quiet at night and we felt perfectly safe walking in the neighborhood after dinner and such. Overall, a great stay.
